Ghostly kitty. Named for "cat," Gatto is a Castiglioni brothers 1960 cocoon creation which sits softly on any table, offering a glowing diffused light. The lamp is done in the famous "cocoon" style that the duo was known for: a white powder coated internal steel structure is sprayed with a soft, webby resin. The diffuser is then protected by a delicate resin transparent, sprayed-on finish. Soft, sweet, and at home atop any table, this "cat" from Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni was inspired by the great George Nelson's line of revolutionary bubble lamps.
